PLAN THE WHOLE CAR

Every position.
Accounted for.

Measure a clear area at each location before settling on a layout. A door handle, body crease, trim strip, or small front/rear area can change the available footprint.

Position reference: 2026 PCA Club Racing · Car Number Requirements. For magnetic placement limitations, read Magnum’s installation guidance.

Left side

8-inch number · Side number stroke: 1.5–2 inches.

Right side

8-inch number · Side number stroke: 1.5–2 inches.

Windshield

6-inch number · White, horizontal, upper right from the driver’s perspective; high contrast.

Front

Number size to confirm + 4-inch class · Check body-specific front location; GT/GTP without a windshield need 8-inch centered hood numbers.

Rear

4-inch number + 4-inch class · Readable from timing and scoring.

Before a production proof

  • Check your registered number and any class or run-group identifier.
  • Confirm current event requirements and required official decals.
  • Measure clear width and height on the actual car.
  • Record the finish and check the selected attachment material.

We check the actual characters, stroke widths, positions and supplied fit measurements on the production proof. The on-screen car illustration does not complete those checks.

A few useful answers.

Can I order if I do not have the complete rulebook?

Yes. Send the event registration link and what you know. We will research the identification requirements and keep the request open until the missing details are resolved. Printing starts only after the quote and production proof are approved. Official reference ↗

Can a magnetic kit work on every car?

No. It needs a suitable magnetic surface and full contact; aluminum, fiberglass, and carbon-fiber panels are not suitable magnetic substrates. Check the actual mounting area and finish. Magnum care and application guidance · Our material guide.
